Welcome to the Hawthorne Manor! This is an old farm house that was built
in 1878 by Thomas Clinton Hawthorne III and is located in Piney Flats, Tennessee. Thomas was married to Jane Cutler and had
four kids. They were living a great life until 1884 when their youngest son, John, began to suffer from great depression.
Thomas took him to many doctors but there was no hope. Many doctors refused to even see John again for reasons they didn't
want to talk about. About a year went by and John only got worse. One night Thomas and Jane woke up to their horse's head
laying between them. This really disturbed the two and they proceeded to blame their son John. John was believed to be angered
by this and on Oct 27th 1886 John murdered every member of his family in the Hawthorne Manor. It is still unknown why he did
it. That night he fled and was not caught for 10 years. Though when he WAS caught he was able to escape, make it back to the
manor and proceed to take his own life by hanging himself.
